Pets of the Week

Elfie is a tabico (tabby/calico) who needs some adjustment time and more socialization. She trusts some staff members enough to get pets from them. Elfie also does well with other cats and seems to be comforted by their company.

Pluto is a goofy, 1 year-old hound mix who came to the humane society from local animal control. He is outgoing, playful and filled with energy. Pluto needs an owner to keep up with him and help him be his best.

Freddy is a domestic shorthaired kitten who came in as a stray with his littermates. He has tested positive for FIV. However, with excellent care, many FIV cats live normal lives. Please give this guy a forever home.

Gatsby is Save-A-Pet's pet of the week for Nov. 9, 2023.

Queenie is a calm 5-year-old brindle terrier mix that was relinquished to NAWS by her previous owner. She is friendly and outgoing. She loves children and walks well on a leash. She gets along with dogs who match her energy level.

Leah is Save-A-Pet's pet of the week for Nov. 2, 2023.

Polka Dot is a 6-year-old domestic shorthair that was abandoned at a firehouse in Chicago. She is quiet, gentle, friendly and sweet. She likes gentle pets and attention.

Chevy is Save-A-Pet's pet of the week for Oct. 26, 2023.

Hastings is a 4-year-old tabby that is playful and social. He was found as a friendly stray after fending for himself outdoors for some time. He likes other cats and has lived with a dog in his foster home. He likes attention and shows love, too.

Wilder is Save-A-Pet's pet of the week for Oct. 19, 2023.

Willy is a 2-year-old male border collie/lab mix. He is an energetic, playful, and loves people. He needs a home with a big yard where he can run and play. Willy loves long walks, peanut butter treats and belly rubs.

Elinor is a domestic shorthair kitten who was found in the middle of a road and saved by a kind person. She is sweet with lots of love to give.
