A Wauconda police officer suffered minor injuries early Sunday after steering his patrol vehicle into the path of a wrong-way driver to prevent him from hitting other cars on the road.
According to Wauconda police, 26-year-old Kenneth M. Farrar was driving a motorcycle without a registration at about 4:43 p.m. Thursday when an officer attempted to pull him over at Brown Street and Slocum Lake Road.
A man was severely injured Thursday when he crashed his motorcycle into a marsh while evading a Wauconda police officer, authorities said.
Wauconda police pursued an armed man for nearly an hour Thursday afternoon through Wauconda, Mundelein and other parts of Lake County before apprehending him with the help of a Lake County sheriff's office dog, authorities said Thursday.
