The Dixon wrestling team claimed its fourth consecutive Big Northern Conference championship with a triangular sweep Thursday night in Byron, defeating Winnebago 66-9 and the host Tigers 54-15.

The Rock Falls boys basketball team rolled to a 79-37 win over Orion in a nonconference road game Tuesday night, while the Newman boys beat Mendota 63-43 in a Three Rivers East road game to stay unbeaten in conference play.
The Dixon boys basketball team hit the road Friday night and defeated South Beloit 49-37 in a nonconference game, while the Newman boys built a 16-point halftime lead in a 64-55 win over Hall in a Three Rivers East game in Sterling.
