As approved, the section of Walnut Avenue between Riverside and Second avenues are closed to street traffic from April 15 to Oct. 31.

The Guess Who will perform May 4, while Nazareth takes the stage May 16.

The new restaurant, located inside the Arcada Theatre building, is expected to open to the public later this month.

The Arcada Theatre in downtown St. Charles will host the Righteous Brothers April 10 and Grand Funk April 11.

Renowned blues-rock guitarist Coco Montoya will perform at the Arcada Theatre’s Legends and Icons Dinner and Show series on Sunday, April 28.

Thunderstruck, a tribute to AC/DC, will appear at the downtown St. Charles theater March 30.

Other upcoming performances at the Arcada Theatre include '80s rockers Warrant and a Phil Collins tribute.

“Fairytales on Ice” returns to the Des Plaines Theatre at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3 and to the Arcada Theatre in downtown St. Charles at 7 p.m. Monday, March 4.

Tony Orlando, of the legendary television show and recording group, “Tony Orlando & Dawn,” will perform at the historic Des Plaines Theatre at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 2 and at the Arcada Theatre at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3.

Fans of the '80s movie “Dirty Dancing” can learn the film’s iconic dance moves at a special group dance lesson at the Arcada Theatre in downtown St. Charles from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15.

Retro Radio will bring audiences some of the biggest vocal harmony songs from artists like The Four Seasons, The Mamas & The Papas, Simon & Garfunkel, The Association, Seals & Crofts, Crosby, Stills, & Nash, The Roches, Manhattan Transfer and more.

Everclear will perform at the Arcada Theatre on Friday, Jan. 26.

Tributes to Eric Church and Chris Stapleton, AC/DC, Talking Heads, Journey, John Prine, Steely Dan, George Michael and The Beatles to grace stage in January.

His entertainment projects include Chicago-area restaurants, concert venues and cultural festivals under the Onesti Entertainment banner.
