The scholarships are made possible with funding from Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
“Masks should be worn indoors by all individuals (age 2 and older) who are not fully vaccinated. Consistent and correct mask use by people who are not fully vaccinated is especially important indoors and in crowded settings, when physical distancing cannot be maintained,” the CDC guidance reads.
Those that receive a Pfizer vaccine at the health department’s clinics starting Thursday, July 8 will receive a raffle ticket for the drawings.
Kendall County reaches ninth-highest vaccination rate in the state thus far.
The health department has previously said they estimate 700 vaccinations county-wide by some time this week.
