Asked about the county paying the college tuition of a public employee, Kane County Board candidate Michael Linder wrote, "The full tuition of a degree program for a single employee, which evidently happened, with multiple credit card payments over time, is not acceptable."
Kane County Board District 16 candidate Ted Penesis answered when asked if there is a local crime problem, "The perception that crime is increasing does not match the reality in most of the county, where the overall crime rate has dropped 16 percent over the past three years."
