The current McHenry Township assessor was leading in the Democratic primary race for McHenry County clerk, the winner of which will face incumbent Joe Tirio in the general election in November, early unofficial results showed.
McHenry County voters will line up today to cast their votes in this year’s primary election races, months later than normal. The delay had some local officials concerned about turnout, which started slow but ticked upward as early voting continued.
