Wheaton Warrenville South's Zachary Turner won the discus and York's Patrick Hill won the 3,200 at Friday's DuPage County Boys Track and Field Championships in Elmhurst.

Downers Grove North girls track and field won its sixth straight West Suburban Silver title, Willowbrook baseball ran its win streak to 21 in a row and York, Lyons, Wheaton Academy and Lemont baseball and Glenbard West, Montini and IC Catholic Prep softball were all winners.

Nicholas Baca had five hits and six RBIs and Damian Noa struck out 12 in a Riverside-Brookfield baseball win, Downers Grove North baseball finished a sweep of Glenbard West and Downers Grove South, Montini and Glenbard East baseball and St. Francis and Lemont softball also won.

Kara Glenn showed her range in full, setting meet records in the 400 and 3,200 to pace St. Charles North to its second DuKane Conference title in as many years. St. Charles East set four meet records in taking second while Geneva took third.
