Yorkville police say an easy way to help you identify a fraudulent email is to check the sending address. All official emails coming from the city end with @yorkville.il.us.

Investigators from seven police agencies worked together to conduct compliance checks on 114 offenders, making contact with 58.

Antonio L. Alexander, 48, has been charged with burglary, theft, resisting a police officer and obstructing a police officer. He is in custody at the Kendall County Jail.

Vincent A. Williams, 32, of Plano, was taken into custody on Oct. 7 by the Plano police.

The Yorkville Police Department announced online that they have completed their investigation into the death of Aiyana Williams, 16, who was first reported missing on June 16.
