OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center is teeing up a new tradition that brings together fun, fellowship and philanthropy with the inaugural OSF Saint Katharine Golf Outing on July 9 at Timber Creek Golf Course in Dixon.

OSF HealthCare is welcoming Chris Herbert to OSF Saint Katharine Center for Health – Sterling, where he will begin seeing patients April 23.

Nurses from across OSF HealthCare recently gathered in Springfield for the OSF inaugural Nurses Day at the Capitol, bringing clinical perspectives directly to state lawmakers while advocating for legislation that impacts patient care and the ministry’s ability to serve.

OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center in Dixon will go live April 1 with an “Epic upgrade”, transitioning to the Epic electronic medical record.

A growing trend on social media promotes the idea that going barefoot is more “natural” and beneficial for foot health. But according to Dr. Brandon Gumbiner, a podiatric surgeon with OSF HealthCare Saint Katharine Medical Center, the risks often outweigh the perceived benefits.

The group will meet every Monday, April through October, at 9 a.m. at the walking path near Peoria Avenue and River Street in Dixon.
