The Ottawa Concert Association announced the “Yesterday Once More: The Sound of Karen Carpenter” concert featuring Joanne O’Brien has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Central Intermediate School, 711 E. McKinley Road.
Waubonsee Community College will host several free musical concerts throughout December.
The Joliet American Legion Band, sponsored by American Legion Post 1080, will present its 40th edition of the “Sounds of Christmas” concert on Sunday, Dec. 10, at the Rialto Square Theatre in downtown Joliet.
The Venue, a live music performance space in Aurora, announced its December lineup, including big names and a series of holiday shows.
Tickets are still available to see legendary musician Wayne Newton at Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14.
Bret Michaels will bring his Parti-Gras tour to the Arcada Theatre Nov. 26, while the Allman Betts Family Revival will take the stage on Nov. 27, followed by The Tubes on Nov. 29 and Foghat on Dec. 2.
The University of St. Francis welcomes singer/songwriter trios Crooked Tails and The Rebel Eves for “Illinois & Michigan Night,” on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 7 p.m. as part of the University’s Music at Moser series.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17 for the April show.
