The Sauk Valley Diversity Alliance will host its Juneteenth Celebration, a free family-friendly event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Grandon Civic Center in Sterling.

The celebration will include inspiring and empowering information, free food, free activities, free entertainment, vendors, giveaways and more.

This year’s celebration theme is “Honoring the Past, Serving the Present & Inspiring the Future.”
