David J. Sosa, 17. of Ashton is charged with four counts of first-degree murder in the strangulation death of his girlfriend, Jaedyn A. Hill, who turned 16 earlier this month.
Terrence D. Montgomery, 39, is wanted in connection with an incident that police say occurred in August 2022 in Sterling, according to a news release issued Friday by the Sterling Police Department.

Jordan. L. Kaye was charged Wednesday with being a felon in possession of firearm ammunition, possession of meth and heroin and driving while license revoked, according to court documents.
Donna M. McKenna, 52, was charged with three counts of arson and one count of insurance fraud Wednesday in Whiteside County Circuit Court, according to court documents.
Ronald W. McNinch, who’s listed as homeless in Tuesday’s court documents but who previously lived in Rock Falls and Sterling, is charged with armed violence, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of weapons as a felon and unlawful use of weapons.
Alan Marshall, arrested on three counts of arson, now has been charged with two counts of aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and unlawful restraint in connection with events leading up to a Sept. 25 fire at a Sterling duplex in the 600 block of West Fifth Street.
No weapons were found on the students or at the school, police say.
Sterling police say three arson arrest warrants have been issued for a Sterling man who is accused of running from police Wednesday during a domestic battery investigation and then barricading himself in his West Fifth Street apartment shortly before fire broke out there.
