2022 Election Primary: Kane County Board
Among the incumbents who appeared to lose their primaries – according to unofficial results Tuesday – is Barbara Wojnicki, who sought the GOP nomination to seek a sixth term on the Kane County Board.
Incumbent Kane County Board member Kenneth Shepro, R-Wayne, who lost his GOP primary Tuesday to Bill Roth in unofficial results, blasted his challenger for winning by “a campaign of character assassination” and declared he would run again.
Kane County’s primary election night did not come off without a hitch, as two software programs suddenly didn’t mesh and barely any results were posted before 10 p.m.
