Plano, Sandwich and Yorkville Christian boys basketball were all winners in Friday's roundup.

Ethan Vahl scored 30 points, six in overtime with two assists, Brayden Borrowman hit the go-ahead free throws in overtime, and visiting Oswego beat Oswego East for the second time in OT this season to sweep the crosstown series for the first time in 10 years.

Oswego senior Dillon Griffin was a state alternate last year, losing in the blood round at sectionals, but has been a warmup partner at state for two former teammates. Now he's chasing his own dreams for a bid to Champaign, among sectional participants this weekend.
