Woodland 57, Gardner South-Wilmington 47: GSW drops a non-conference game.

Girls basketball

Coal City 40, Streator 30: Laura Christopher led the way with 11 points and five rebounds.

Manteno 41, Reed-Custer 21: Alyssa Wollenzien led the effort with nine points, three rebounds and four steals.

Seneca 60, Midland 44: Evelyn O’Conner led the way with 17 points while Audry McNabb added 12.

Boys bowling

Joliet Central 2,526, Romeoville 2,010: Garrett Johnson had a 570 series and Trent Mooney rolled a 192 game. The Steelmen are now 8-2 on the year.

Yorkville 2,950, Plainfield South 2,647: The Cougars were swept in three games.
