Aliano’s cuts the ribbon

Mayor Jeff Schielke (center) cuts the grand opening ribbon for Aliano’s Ristorante, 90 N. Island Ave., in Batavia with Phillip Aliano (left of Schielke) and Mario Aliano (right of Schielke). The Alianos’ parents originally are from Italy, and they have owned restaurants on Taylor Street in Chicago. The grand opening celebration in Batavia took place Saturday.
