Mt. St. Mary Park in St. Charles was awarded Level II status by ArbNet, a global tree-centered network sponsored by The Morton Arboretum in Lisle.

The annual St. Charles Fine Arts Show will feature more than 110 local, national and international artists, as well as live music and activities for kids.

The Batavia Park District will host a grand opening event for the newly renovated Patrick J. Callahan Community Center on Aug. 9.
