Arthouse Aurora Restaurant now open for business

The latest addition to Aurora’s growing culinary scene has opened for business in the city’s booming downtown district.

The owners of The GOAT Burger + Cocktail Bar in Batavia officially welcomed Arthouse Aurora Restaurant on Dec. 20, 2024.

According to a news release from the city of Aurora, Arthouse Aurora Restaurant brings its own unique culture to the city’s social scene in the downtown district by offering great food and great vibes.

Located next door to the Paramount Theatre, Arthouse reflects the theatre’s arts theme in name and décor, including artwork, album covers and portraits of artists in various fields on the walls. In the future, a projector in the main dining area will feature silent films.

Arthouse Aurora Restaurant’s menu includes a variety of salads and sandwiches, as well as everything from nachos, fried pickles and wings to lamb satay, mussels and fried rice balls - including a special kids’ menu.

Arthouse Aurora was the third new restaurant to open in the city’s downtown in 2024. In August, Leilani Asian Fusion Restaurant opened and Giardino Trattoria and Pizzeria opened in the same building as Leilani, two blocks away from Arthouse Aurora, this past fall.
