Morris 39, Ottawa 37 (OT): Jack Wheeler had 18 points and eight rebounds to lead Morris (4-2, 1-1) to the Interstate Eight Conference win.

Aric Threadgill led Ottawa (5-2, 0-2) with 13 points.

Lockport 63, Lincoln-Way East 58: Collin Miller put 24 on the board during a Southwest Suburban Conference win.

Anthony Kosi had 18 points and eight rebounds and Nojus Venckus had nine points and three steals.

Joliet West 66, Plainfield East 32: The Tigers came out on top for a Southwest Prairie Conference victory.

Dwight 58, Midland 38: The Trojans came out on top for a Tri-County Conference win.

Plainfield South 53, Plainfield Central 32: The Cougars battled and picked up a Southwest Prairie Conference victory.

Oswego East 52, Yorkville 48: The Wolves pulled ahead during a Southwest Prairie Conference win.

Lincoln-Way Central 55, Andrew 51: At Andrew, the Knights battled for a Southwest Suburban Conference victory.

Streator 46, Coal City 26: At Pops Dale Gymnasium in Streator, the visiting Coalers (5-2 overall, 2-1 Illinois Central Eight) were limited to 10-of-36 shooting from the field and trailed throughout.

Dylan Young provided team-high with eight points and seven rebounds for Coal City.

Marian Catholic 65, Joliet Catholic 23: The Hilltoppers fell short in an East Suburban Catholic Conference matchup.

Bolingbrook 74, Plainfield North 63: Quintin Wiencek had 17 points but the Tigers fell in Southwest Prairie Conference action.

Manteno 71, Reed-Custer 32: The Comets fell behind and couldn’t come back in Illinois Central Eight Conference play.

Girls basketball

Gardner-South Wilmington 43, Newark 39: Maddie Simms had 23 points on the night for the Panthers during a nonconference win.

Madison Wright had eight points and Maya Cacello and Aubrey Male had four each.
