Area book enthusiasts and wordsmiths of all ages are invited to make their way to the third annual Grayslake AuthorFest on June 21 in downtown Grayslake.

The winners were chosen in April from over 300 submissions from seventh graders and eighth graders in Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles schools.

Several local authors and illustrators of books for all ages will provide short presentations of their work during an open house event at Yorkville Public Library. Guests will also have a chance to win raffle prizes.
