Vaccine update: Sauk Valley administers 439 doses Thursday

The Sauk Valley administered an additional 439 coronavirus vaccine doses Thursday, and 366 more people became fully vaccinated.

Whiteside County has administered 44,329 total doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, with 22,353 people (40.18%) fully vaccinated. Lee County has had 29,899 doses, with 15,149 people (44.27%) fully vaccinated. Carroll County has administered 9,598 vaccine doses, with 5,056 people (35.13%) fully vaccinated. Ogle County has had 41,613 doses, with 20,727 people (40.7%) fully vaccinated.

There have been 125,439 doses administered and 63,285 people fully vaccinated across Whiteside, Lee, Carroll and Ogle counties.

The Illinois Department of Public Health reported a total of 12,319,794 COVID-19 vaccines administered.

The state has administered 31,552 shots, and 5,999,249 people in Illinois have been fully vaccinated, or 47.09% of the population.
