The theme of the week at the Democratic National Convention was freedom, one local delegate said. “It’s been an amazing week,” Lee County Democrats member Sarah Bingaman said. “It’s been magnificent, frankly.”

Election judges are getting harder and harder to come by and with Election Day quickly approaching, Lee County is in need of election judges to run its polling locations, Lee County Clerk and Recorder Nancy Petersen said.
