ROCK FALLS — The Rock Falls High School board of education will meet in special session 5 p.m. Wednesday in the school’s conference room.
The meeting is to approve general contracting services and bids for an improvement project that includes renovation of the cafeteria kitchen.
At its December meeting, the board approved a $1.5 million spending plan from its portion of the federal program to provide for educational needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief III grants are being used at Rock Falls High School to install new heating and air conditioning for the gymnasium, cafeteria and computer lab. The funds are also being used on remote learning tools, air purifiers, online tutorial services and summer learning programs.
