Resthave Care, administrator recognized by professional association

MORRISON — Resthave Care and Rehabilitation received the Excellence Award for long-term care centers from the Illinois Health Care Association.

In addition, Jill Smith was named administrator of the year. Smith has been in that role at Resthave for five years. “I am surrounded by the best board of directors, staff, residents and community. I could not do what I do every day without them. It is a privilege to serve in this role,” Smith said.

The awards were presented during the opening session of the association’s annual convention in Springfield on Sept. 14.

Resthave also was recognized as a 50-year member of IHCA.
