FRANKLIN GROVE — The first Grist Mill Grind 10K run and fun walk will be 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Franklin Creek State Natural Area.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Franklin Creek Conservation Association to help fund park programs, park expansion, and park improvements.
For the past two months, volunteers have been cleaning the trails. The course winds through the state natural area. There are several hills and an elevation gain in excess of 800 feet. Runners will also cross Franklin Creek several times.
