Whiteside County to have pop-up vaccine clinic

The Whiteside County Health Department mobile unit was making its trial run, said the department's Cheryl Lee, on Friday, July 9, 2021, at the Rock Falls High School parking lot. The vaccination clinic was timed to provide the Pfizer vaccine to students ages 12 and older so they would be able to get a second dose in three weeks in time for the start of school in August. The Illinois Department of Public Health said on Friday it would adhere to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for schools.

STERLING – The Whiteside County Health Department will have a pop-up vaccination clinic 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Twin Cities Farmers Market. The mobile unit will be dispensing shots with the Pfizer vaccine without an appointment.
