Petunia Festival buttons available for purchase

It’s nearly Petunia time in Dixon, and the Dixon Society of St. Vincent de Paul is selling Petunia buttons again this year.

The 57th Petunia Festival will be July 2-4. There has been a commemorative button for each year. This year’s button was designed by Nora Balayti, with the theme of “Home For The Holidays.”

Buttons can be purchased from any member, Veniers, Books On First, Main St., and the Petunia Festival Headquarters. Buttons will also be sold at all major events of the Petunia Festival like the pancake breakfast, the Riverfront Market, band concert and Art in the Park.

Buttons sell for $3, and there are full sets for sale of all 57 years. Proceeds go to St. Vincent de Paul Society to help the needy in our community with rent, food, utilities, car gas, food and more.
