The Bradley-Bourbonnais boys golf team opened its season with a narrow loss to Sandburg in Thursday's Daily Journal roundup.

The Beecher Muskies won their first NABF World Series championship since 2010 with a wild 10-6 comeback victory at North Central College on Sunday, their second straight game coming back from a late five-run deficit.

Following a 6-1 win in the quarterfinals, the Beecher Muskies came back from a late 8-3 deficit in the NABF World Series semifinals at North Central College on Saturday, winning 10-9 to advance to the title game for the second year in a row.
