McDonald's opens in Sugar Grove

The ribbon-cutting event for Sugar Grove's first McDonald's restaurant took place Tuesday night. Among those in attendance were State Rep. Kay Hatcher (from left), Ed Schmitt Jr., Richard Schmitt, Sugar Grove Village President Sean Michels, Ed Schmitt Sr. and Evan Schmitt. The restaurant is at 523 N. Route 47.
