5 Things to Do in Will County: A Merry MAR-y Christmas 2024

Allison Flood and John Condron perform in "A Merry MAR-y Christmas" in December 2023. A Merry MAR-y Christmas 2024 will be held Saturday at the Mar Theatre in Wilmington and feature holiday music favorites from 20 area performers, visit from Santa, sing-a-long, concessions and cash bar.

1. “It’s A Wonderful Life” Live Radio Play: 7 p.m. Dec. Thursday, Rialto Square Theatre, 102 N. Chicago St., Joliet. Local radio talents will perform the classic Christmas story live from the Rialto stage. An annual holiday tradition at the Rialto. For tickets and more information visit rialtosquare.com/shows.

2. “Gloria:” 3 p.m. Saturday, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 412 East Benton St.,Joliet. Tutti Voce Collective will present “Gloria,” its annual holiday concert featuring Vivaldi’s Gloria in D Major, RV 589 and both newer and traditional carols, including audience singalongs. 3.A Merry MAR-y Christmas 2024: 7:30 p.m. Saturday, MAR Theater, 121 S. Main St., Wilmington. The 1937 MAR Theater’s annual Christmas show benefits Kuzma Care Cottage food bank and features holiday music favorites from 20 area performers, visit from Santa, sing-a-long, concessions and cash bar. 4. Christmas in the Commons: 4-8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 22, Village Commons, New Lenox. Light displays along with our 40-foot tall lighted Santa Claus, visits from Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, synthetic skating rinks, and a variety of other activities.
