At 8:12 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call reporting a fight in the 400 block of Wyeth Circle, which is in a subdivision near East Boughton Road and Ivanhoe Park.
Preliminary information indicated that the incident stemmed from a traffic-related altercation, police said.
“The victims, 60 and 70 years of age, observed a Black Chevrolet Equinox driving erratically in the area,” police said. “The victims yelled at the offenders, at which time both the victims and offenders stopped their vehicles and confronted each other.”
The group in the Equinox, comprised of young adults and juveniles, attacked the two victims and knocked the 70-year-old to the ground, police said.
The offenders then left the area.
The 70-year-old victim was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.
Graves was located in the area and taken into custody. He was released on bond at the police department.
“Bolingbrook police detectives are currently investigating this case and additional arrests are forthcoming upon review of the [Will County] State’s Attorney’s Office,” police said.
