District 86 Joliet seeks community input with survey

Survey is available online until June 15.

Joliet Public Schools District 86 is seeking community input as it prepares to improve its facilities.

Voters in Aptil approved a $95.5 million building bond referendum. So District 86 in Joliet will soon begin implementing its five-year strategic plan to improve facilities and provide innovative spaces for students and staff, District 86 said in a news release announcing the survey.

The survey is available at forms.gle/xdtfLoUu1gs2LYFSA until June 15.

A copy of the new 2023-2028 Joliet Public Schools District 86 Strategic Plan is available at joliet86.org/district-info/strategic-plan.

Joliet Public Schools District 86 is currently the third largest elementary school district in Illinois. District 86 serves approximately 9,800 students in grades PreKindergarten through eighth grade at 21 schools in Joliet, District 86 said.
