Lindsay Oldendorf led Lockport with seven kills in a 25-15, 25-19 win in a SouthWest Suburban Conference crossover match against Andrew on Thursday in Lockport.
Cameryn DeBlecourt had 11 assists and three aces, and Ava Theoharis added 11 digs as the Porters improved to 6-4 overall.
Plainfield North 2, Joliet Central 0: At Joliet, the Tigers secured a 25-14, 25-20 win.
Minooka 2, Yorkville 1: At Minooka, the Indians came away with a victory in a close 21-25, 25-17, 29-27 slugfest.
Kendal Franklin and Grace Carlson had eight kills apiece in the win. Ashley Currier had 26 assists and Ashlyn Berczynski added 18 digs.
Bolingbrook 2, Lincoln-Way West 1: At Bolingbrook, the Warriors lost in three sets , 18-25, 25-20, 25-22.
Ashlynn Lindsay had eight kills in the loss. Alex Flores had 14 assists, and Laney Tuttle added 12 digs.
GIRLS TENNIS
Lincoln-Way West 5, Lincoln-Way Central 2: At New Lenox, West came out on top on the road to pick up a crosstown win over the Knights.
Cate Cosgrove and Jess Weaver led the charge for the Warriors, both winning their singles matches in straight sets. West improved to 6-3 overall and 1-0 in the SWSC.
BOYS SOCCER
Lincoln-Way West 8, St. Francis 0: At Plainfield, the Warriors finished pool play at the Plainfield North Classic by shutting out St. Francis.
West scored four times in each half.
Lincoln-Way Central 2, Downers Grove South 0: At New Lenox, the Knights picked up a shutout win at home behind goals from Zach Davis and Rohnny Roussakis.
Andrew Madon had an assist, and Ryan Marszalak made four saves to earn the shutout win for Central (7-1).
GIRLS SWIMMING
Lincoln-Way East 121, Lincoln-Way Central 66: At New Lenox, the Griffins had a strong road win over the rival Knights.
Kayla Rompala was a highlight for Central in the loss, winning the 200 freestyle. Kylie Trautvetter won the 200 individual medley, and Sophia Ewanic won the 100 backstroke.
Sandburg 97.5, Lincoln-Way West 88.5: At New Lenox, the Warriors came up just short at home in an SWSC loss.
West’s Bella Cichon took first in the 100 breaststroke, Emma Stiglic won the 100 butterfly, Madalyn Witt took the 50 freestyle, and Olivia Gonda took first in diving.
BOYS GOLF
Coal City triangular: At The Creek, Coal City came out on top in the triangular with Peotone and Manteno to secure a pair of Illinois Central Eight Conference wins.
The Coalers shot 172 as a team to top Peotone (177) and Manteno (193). Ryne Phelan was the medalist for Coal City with a 41, Aiden Hansen shot a 42, Dylan Brown came in at 44, and Jack Varnek rounded out the Coalers’ scorers with a 45.
