1) Joliet Central High School will host its fall concert at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Central Campus Student Center Galleria, 201 E. Jefferson Street in Joliet. Performances will feature the mixed chorus, concert choir and Steeltones. The event is free and open to the public. Enter through the main entrance in the Central Student Centerr. 2) The Forest Preserve District of Will County will host “Winged Souls & Milkweed” from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Isle a la Cache Museum in Romeoville. Learn what Dia de los Muertos [Day of the Dead], monarchs and milkweed have in common and then gather and prepare milkweed seeds for monarchs for use in the forest preserve and your own garden to feed the monarchs next spring. 3) Well Versed Comedy is hosting a clean, family friendly comedy fundraiser for the Royal Family Kids Camp, a week-long camp for children in the foster care system, on Saturday at ROXY Lockport. Doors open at 7 p.m. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Soft drinks available for purchase to support the theater and the work of Trinity Services, who runs the ROXY. Tickets are $20 per person, $10 for kids 10 and over, and free for kids under 10. All proceeds benefit Royal Family Kids – Lockport. 4) Come out and play Vera Bradley Bingo from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Dellwood Park Community Center, 1811 S. Lawerence Ave., Lockport. Doors open at noon. The event includes three cards for for 15 games for a chance to win more than $2,000 worth of Vera Bradley merchandise plus a Vera Bradley prize to take home. The event also features a 50/50 raffle, specialty game raffle baskets and door prizes. Concessions available or bring your own [no alcohol allowed]. 5) The American rock band, Chicago, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rialto Square Theatre, located at 102 N. Chicago St. in Joliet.
