Armed Robbery

A Peotone family was held at gunpoint and robbed Friday night while changing a flat tire. Police have a "heavy presence" in the area seeking the suspects.

A pair of police dogs helped track down a Lake Zurich man after police say he tried to steal a skid-steer and pulled a gun on the vehicle’s owner near Vernon Hills.

The suspect whom police say robbed a Joliet 7-Eleven store on Larkin Avenue has been arrested.

Police responded to the robbery at 7-Eleven, 325 S. Larkin Avenue, in Joliet, on Monday evening. The suspect remains at large.
