Snyder in Dixon now able to give vaccines; CGH in Sterling holding Pfizer clinic Tuesday

Snyders Pharmacy, 301 N. Galena Ave. in Dixon, on Tuesday will begin offering free COVID-19 vaccinations daily to walk-ins or to those who make appointments.

The pharmacy is starting with the two-dose Moderna vaccine, for those 18 and older, but plans to order others, including the one-dose Johnson & Johnson, in the future.

Go to healthmartcovidvaccine.com to register and make an appointment, or just stop in the store from 10 a.m. to. 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Also Tuesday, CGH Medical Center will have a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 3 to 7 p.m. at the hospital at 100 E. LeFevre Road in Sterling.

Recipients must be at least 16, and live or work in Illinois.

Those getting shots can walk in or sign up at cghmc.com/vaccine. Enter through the main entrance.
