Harvard home struck by gunfire, police say

No injuries to home’s occupants

Multiple gunshots struck a Harvard home about 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of West Metzen Street, police said.

Nobody inside the home was injured by the shots, which were fired by a weapon of an unknown caliber, according to a news release from the Harvard Police Department.

Harvard police and the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the incident. Police said there is no immediate threat to other residents in the area.
