Newcomers Gilmartin, Glover to join Hose on Downers Grove Village Council


Incumbent Greg Hose will return for another term on the Downers Grove Village Council where he will be joined by newcomers Chris Gilmartin and Danny Glover.

With 100% of precincts reporting, Hose was the lead vote getter, picking up 3,493 votes in the race for three seats.

Incumbent Marge Earl, who ran a low-key campaign and did not participate in various candidate forums, will leave the council after nearly five years, having received 1,590 votes in the six-way race.

Meanwhile, Glover garnered 3,026 votes followed by Gilmartin who picked up 2,914 votes, according to unofficial results.

Andrew Pelloso, received 2,281 votes, and 1,468 ballots were cast for Tammi Karam.
