Several businesses and organizations handed out treats to more than 600 children in the community.

Community Cares and Oswego School District 308 come together to help those in need with a coat drive and a list of food pantries in the area.

District officials view that as continued progress in academic performance and student success. Commendable is a designation given to a school that has no underperforming student groups, a graduation rate greater than 67 percent and whose performance is not in the top 10 percent.
