• Janine L. Henning, 59, of the 100 block of West Grand Lake Boulevard, West Chicago, was charged July 24 with driving under the influence and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. According to a police report released after a Freedom of Information Act request, police were called to Fabyan Parkway and North Batavia Avenue about 11 p.m. in response to a crash. A white Ford F250, driven by Henning, had rear-ended a white Honda CRV. Henning refused to provide a breath sample, the report stated.
