SUGAR GROVE – Did you lose your wallet or passport at the Jewel-Osco in Sugar Grove?

If you did, the police have four wallets and one passport that the store held for a while before turning them over to police, according to a police report.

Employees had found the wallets and passport over an unspecified period of time, but no owners came to claim them, the report stated.

Police took possession of the wallets and passport on May 21, individually packaged, photographed and sealed them for safekeeping in a temporary evidence locker, the report stated.

Investigators were asked to assist in finding the owners, as their last known addresses were with the wallets and passport.

Anyone with information about the wallets and passport can call the Sugar Grove police at 630-466-4526.
