Jim Brickman, Rhythm of the Dance shows offered by Batavia Fine Arts Centre

Performances by Jim Brickman will be benefits for the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, which also announces a show by Rhythm of the Dance.

Brickman, a Grammy-nominated songwriter and piano sensation, will continue to entertain fans in February with “Share The Love” LIVE Virtually.” A portion of each ticket purchased to the live event will benefit the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, a news release stated, noting one should enter code “lovebfacc” upon purchasing a virtual ticket.

“Fans and their families can enjoy the unique virtual concert experience from the comfort of home while supporting the arts during this challenging time,” the release stated. “Brickman’s valentine tradition continues with a front-row experience.”

Concerts begin at 8 p.m. Feb. 12; and at 6 and 9 p.m. Feb. 13 and 14. Tickets cost $50.

A virtual show by Rhythm of the Dance begins at 7:30 p.m. March 12.

Like a sheet of lightning, the pulsating rhythms, pure energy and melodic music of Rhythm of the Dance has hit 50 countries around the world with audiences numbering over 7 million fans during the past 20 years, the release stated.

Fans virtually get to enjoy 2,000 years and more of dance, music, songs and culture from pre-Celtic times to modern-day sounds all in a two-hour concert. It’s full of flying feet and fiddles, futuristic dances, sound effects and eye-catching lighting and costumes. It is one of the top Irish step dance shows in the world.
