Led by a strong junior class, the La Salle-Peru co-op girls swim team hopes to improve on its sectional finish, qualify swimmers for state and win as many meets as possible.

The La Salle-Peru co-op girls swimming team won big over Morris co-op and Bloomington Central Catholic on Tuesday at the Illinois Valley YMCA.

Henry-Senachwine sophomore Sam Nauman set three records last week for the La Salle-Peru co-op swimming team, earning her NewsTribune Athlete of the Week.
