St. Bede Academy students attend One Bread, One Cup conference

PERU — Four youths and their adult leader, Father Ronald Margherio, O.S.B., from St. Bede Academy in Peru, attended the One Bread, One Cup Summer Liturgical Leadership Conference for high school youths and campus ministers on the campus of St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Ind.

During the five-day conference, the youths learn about their Catholic faith through sessions of catechesis, liturgical and spiritual formation, and participation in liturgies. They also are trained in liturgical ministries, such as lector, Eucharistic minister, musician and cantor, learning skills they can use in their high school.

The One Bread, One Cup conference is held three times each summer as a program of St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology operated by the Benedictine monks of St. Meinrad Archabbey.
