Kenneth C. Dummer, 64, lifelong Oregon resident, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 at KSB Hospital, Dixon.
He was born Nov. 28, 1948 in Oregon, the son of Charles and Ardis (Pederson) Dummer.
Ken was a 1967 graduate of Oregon High School and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam.
He married to Victoria Annas on May 28, 1970 in Sumner, Wash.
He began working for DeKalb-Ogle Telephone Company and after 45 years retired from Frontier Communications in 2009. Ken faithfully attended Lost Lake Community Church, was an avid fisherman and was always ready to help others.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki, Oregon; son, Clyde (Tina) Seeley, Amboy; daughter, Arlene (Steve) McQuaility, Hartman, Ark.; grandchildren, Dustin (Jennifer) Seeley, Franklin Grove, Michael (fiancé Caitlin Summers) Seeley, Sublette, Gennifer Micket and Laura Stankewich, both of Alaska, four grandchildren in Michigan; and great-granddaughter, Genevieve Seeley.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; parents; sons; James and Thomas; and sister, Kristine.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, Oregon, preceded by a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Bob Clardie of Lost Lake Community Church will officiate.
Burial will be at Daysville Cemetery.
