Gable and McCord

DUBUQUE, Iowa – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Mackenzie Gable and Justin McCord, both of Dubuque, Iowa.

She is the daughter of Dan and Kathy Gable of Iowa City, Iowa. He is the son of David McCord of Iron River, Mich., and Cathy McCord of Crystal Lake.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Iowa City High School and a 2010 graduate of Loras College in Dubuque with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

She is a kindergarten teacher with the Dubuque Community School District.

Her fiancé is a 2006 graduate of Prairie Ridge High School and a 2010 graduate of Loras College.

He is a digital success agent at McGraw-Hill Publishing Co. in Dubuque. He also is the head boys soccer coach at Dubuque Walhert Catholic High School and head men’s reserve soccer coach at Loras College.

A July 6 wedding is planned.
