MacInnes and Podlesak

OMAHA, Neb. – Amy Kaye MacInnes and Daniel Barton Podlesak were married Oct. 20, 2012, in a double-ring ceremony at Countryside Community Church in Omaha. The Rev. Chris Alexander officiated.

She is the daughter of Rick and Cathy MacInnes of Omaha. He is the son of Jeff and Kathy Podlesak of Crystal Lake.

The bride wore a floor-length ivory vintage-inspired lace gown and was given in marriage by her father.

She carried a bouquet of yellow and ivory flowers complimented by pink, purple and green pastel blooms.

Matron of honor was Alissa Johnson of Providence, R.I., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Wells, Erin Martin, Ashley Martin, Shannon Sanders and Laura Podlesak.

Best man was Ben Keenan of West Des Moines, Iowa. Groomsmen were Travis Bries, Dustin Opheim, Beau Johnson, Jim Heldt and Sam Von Gillern. Ushers were Jake Oakland, Charles Fisher, Jake Prieur and Dan Kuenzi.

A reception was in the Old Market in downtown Omaha. The couple took a wedding trip to the French Riviera.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She earned a master’s degree in nutritional sciences at the University of Illinois in 2012.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Crystal Lake Central High School. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in sociology and a minor in German. He is employed by Medline Industries as an international product manager.

They reside in Manchester, England.
