Here’s an extra edition of dogs and cats for adoption by Will County rescues

Oreo is a 3-year-old domestic shorthair. He is social, friendly, talkative and attention-seeking. He loves to interact with visitors, hoping they spend time with him. Senor Coco is a 10-year-old happy miniature pinscher/Chihuahua mix. He loves attention and seems to get along with other small dogs. Contact the Will County Humane Society at willcountyhumane.com and follow the instructions for the adoption process.

Chicken is a quiet 10-year-old that came to the shelter with her sister after their owner passed away and no family wanted to take them in. They took a while to mourn their dad and have slowly opened. Chicken can still be a bit nervous here, but she is the sweetest little old lady once you pet her, purring ever so loudly. Sunkist is a 2-year old Lab mix who is only 45 pounds. She raised her nine puppies – they are all adopted- and now she needs a forever home.
