An outage of Xfinity service which affected a large portion of Kankakee County appears to have been a result of vandalism.

Thirty buses at Troy School District 30-C were rendered inoperative after the catalytic converters were stolen from them.

Troy School District 30-C in Will County is working to restore transportation services following vandalism to most of its large buses early Monday morning.

The Park District offered a $1,000 reward for anyone with information leading to the person or persons responsible.
